Competence in these areas are an absolute necessity to passing Algebra 1.

provide step by step solutions to every problem on the exam.
Students must apply mathematical operations and evaluate grouping symbols in the proper order (Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication/Division,
Addition/Subtraction) to guarantee correct results when evaluating expressions and solving equations.
Algebra is the branch of mathematics which substitutes letters(variables) for numbers. The distributive property allows mathmatical operations
to be completed when variables and numbers are combined in an expression or equation.
