Unit 10 is comprised of learning to graph and solve quadratic equations by a variety of methods (factoring GCF, factoring into binomials, zero product property, completing the square and using the quadratic formula). Students will learn to evaluate the quadratic equations by the coefficients and then choose an appropriate method to solve for the variable.

Each lesson is comprised of a video lesson with downloadable lesson worksheets with and without solutions and a series of graded practice exams which provide step by step solutions to every problem on the exam.

Section 1 - Graph Quadratic Equations

Students will learn to graph and identify the graph of a quadratic equation.

Section 2 - Solve Quadratics(Square Roots) x^2=49

Students will learn to solve quadratic equations by taking square roots of each side.

Section 3 - Solve Quadratics(Zero Product) (x+7)(x-4)=0

Students will learn to factor quadratics and use the zero product property to find the solutions.

Section 4 - Solve Quadratics(Complete Square) x^2+2x=8

Students will learn to factor quadratics and use the zero product property to find the solutions.

Section 5 - The Quadratic Formula

Students will learn to identify the quadratic coefficients and then to use the Quadratic formula to find the solutions.
