Students will add, subtract, multiply and divide radical expressions and simplify them by rationalizing the denominators. Students will also learn and apply the pythagorean theorem and the distance formula. Each lesson is comprised of a video lesson with downloadable lesson worksheets with and without solutions and a series of graded practice exams which provide step by step solutions to every problem on the exam. Section 1 - Simplify Radical Expressions   Students will learn to classify radicals as rational or irrational. Students will also simplify radical expressions by multiplying and dividing and rationalizing the denominators. Section 2 - Radical Variable Expressions   Students will learn to multiply and divide variable expressions containing radicals and rationalize the denominators. Section 3 - Combine Radical Expressions   Students will learn to add and subtract variable expressions containing radicals and rationalize the denominators. Students will also learn and apply the Pythagorean Theorem and the Distance Formula.
